Camarillo Airshow
August 19 - 20, 2006
The 26th annual Camarillo airshow celebrates the 30th anniversary of Camarillo Airport. Sponsored by Chapter 723 of the Experimental Aircraft Association, the airshow will feature aircraft displays, airplane rides, activities and a three hour air display from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on each day.
This year's grand marshall is Dick Rutan, famed former fighter pilot and pilot of the first non-stop unrefueled flight around the world in 'Voyager'. Cadet Orientation Flights
August 27, 2006
Another Squadron 61 activity. Orientation flights are available to all cadets with membership cards. Hand-on control of the aircraft and flight experience is offered. Contact Capt. Anthony Schlotthauer or Lt. Tom Scott for details.
